The Early Childhood Services program acknowledges that parents know their child best and should be involved in all decisions about their child. We want you to be involved in your child’s education and encourage you to communicate regularly with the classrooms team, participate in classroom activities and to volunteer. We encourage parents to volunteer in programming any way your schedule allows. Some parents choose to work directly with the children, others like to work on classroom support activities and others may want to be involved in our various committees. We also welcome other family members, such as grandparents, aunts or uncles to volunteer. Each program center can provide training to help volunteers learn about the classroom and different ways to volunteer within our program. All program volunteers will need to submit a completed volunteer application, which will need to be reviewed and approved before volunteering can take place.
